經由金屬起始物 AgX (X = NO3-, PF6-, BF4-, ClO4-)與配位基2-Amino-5-Iodo-pyrimidine (L) 的反應,可獲得到五種一價銀錯合物: [Ag(NO3)(L)]4(H2O),1;{[Ag(PF6)(L)]2(C4H10O)}∞,2;{[Ag(ClO4)(L)]}∞,3;{[Ag(BF4)(L)](MeOH)}∞,4; {[Ag(BF4)]3(L)4(C4H8O2)} ∞,5,以上五種錯合物均已利用X-ray鑑定並紀錄之。而經由X-ray解出的構造中,化合物1為具16圓環的巨環金屬化合物,由四個金屬及四個配位基所組成,其中環和環是藉由I…I以及Ag…O等弱作用力形成三維的超分子孔洞型結構。化合物2及3是形成螺旋狀的長鍊,化合物2中的每條長鍊是經由Ag…F的弱作用力所連結,而在化合物3中則是經由Ag…O以及N-H…O的氫鍵作用力所聯結起來。化合物4為一維的直鏈狀結構,其中配位基以金屬為中心,呈現一正一反的鍵結模式,中心金屬呈現三配位的T型配位模式。化合物5為二配位及四配位的金屬環鍊狀化合物,其中四配位的銀金屬形成扭曲的平行四邊形結構,每條長鍊是經由C-H…F的氫鍵作用力所連接起來。
A series of silver(I) complexes [Ag(NO3)(L)]4(H2O), 1, {[Ag(PF6)(L)]2(C4H10O)}∞, 2, {[Ag(ClO4)(L)]}∞, 3, {[Ag(BF4)(L)](MeOH)}∞, 4, and {[Ag(BF4)]3(L)4(C4H8O2)}∞, 5, [ L = 2-amino-5-iodopyrimidine ] have been prepared by the reactions of AgX (X = NO3-, PF6-, BF4-, ClO4-) with L. All the complexes have been structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography, confirming that complex 1 is a sixteen–membered metalacycle which is interlinked by long-range I…I and Ag…O interations to create channel like structure. Complexes 2 and 3 form helical chains, where the molecules of complex 2 are interlinked by Ag…F interations and those of complex 3 are interlinked by Ag…O interation and N-H…O hydrogen bonds. Complex 4 form 1-D zigzag chains, where the Ag(Ι) shows distorted T-shaped geometry. The 1-D loop chain in 5 is a result of two and four coordinate Ag(Ι) cations, where the four-coodinate silver center shows a slightly distorted square planer geometry. The loop chains are interlinked through C-H…F hydrogen bonds.
