集體的狂熱 ─ 群眾身體空間的列斐伏爾式空間研究

摘要


台灣民主開放的初期,街頭經常成為緊張的戰場。隨著社會的逐漸開放,集會遊行日漸加入看球賽、聽演唱會般成為正常儀式的一環,然而在這樣的眾聲喧嘩的吶喊訴求之中,彷彿聽不到空間的聲音,這樣的群眾的集體活動裡頭空間究竟參與了些什麼? 討論群眾的本質在歷史中所扮演的角色,以及因活動、節慶、抗爭等事件,從日常生活中安靜守分的群眾中蛻變成為失序的、具破壞性的,累積著龐大空間能量的集體狂熱份子。進而探討其雙重性格的表現過程之場域以及其影響力,並以嘉年華會、街頭社會運動、演唱會等相關事件為例作為現今群眾身體空間的主要觀察分析依據。 主要以法國社會學家亨利‧列斐伏爾(Henri Lefebvre)在其著作《空間的生產》(The Production of Space)之中所提出的空間三元辯證。以這方式嘗試從另一個角度分析出狂熱份子在空間中的身體感官,以觀察體驗群眾中的實際經驗或者旁觀者的想像,構畫較具抽象的空間中集體狂熱者之身體所產生的能量氛圍。從此視野來重新觀看相關藝術以及文學、電影等現象,以期從中獲得新的觀念。經由自身觀察經驗並利用列斐伏爾空間三元論的空間生產理論,試圖釐清集體狂熱中的群眾與空間之間的關係,了解在此氛圍中所生產出來的另一種列斐伏爾式的群眾空間觀察,並對此空間進行再現之想像。

In the beginning of Taiwan's democratic process, many disturbing fights happened on streets. Along with the gradual open-up in society, procession has become one of common ceremonies, like going out to see a football game or concert. However, under crowds' commotion and clamor, the space on site seems being overwhelmed. What does the space exactly involve in such crowded assembly activities? This study discusses roles played by crowds in history and those people who are usually quiet and conservative but turn out to be disordered and disruptive assembly fanatics carrying tremendous space energy. The field where the double characters present and the influence are explored as well. Some examples, i.e. Carnival, street activity and concert are discussed and they are the major observation and what this study based on. Furthermore, 3-dimensional space mentioned in The Production of Space by Henri Lefebvre is adopted to do the analysis for this study. Thus fanatics' physical sense in the space can be analyzed from a different angle and crowds' real experience or witnesses' images can be observed. The abstract energetic atmosphere arisen by fanatics' bodies in the space is engendered. Through this perspective, some relative art works, literature and movies are reviewed; hence new concepts can be constructed. By my personal experience and Lefebvre's theory of the production of space, the relation between the crowds and the space is clarified. Then we can understand that there is another observation of crowd space with Lefebvre style and the space can be studied for reappearance imagination.
