生產前製標準品與多種後製客製品生產系統回應時間之研究

Service Level Approximation through The Response Time of MTO/MTS Production System

摘要


本研究考慮一個混合式生產系統,生產標準品滿足一般訂單需求,客製品滿足特殊訂單要求。製造商為了滿足一般性訂單需求,採MTS(Make-to-Stock;MTS)生產系統的方式生產標準品,同時為了滿足特殊訂單需求,採用MTO(Make-to-Order;MTO)生產系統的方式生產客製品。在一般的情況下,一般需求是一個計畫性訂單,應立即被滿足。客製品將取用加工完成的標準品為半成品。當顧客到達時,將要探討如何馬上滿足一般訂單需求以及如何快速的在交付時間(Lead time)內滿足特殊訂單需求。為了要滿足一般訂單需求且縮短特殊訂單需求的回應時間(Response time),將在標準品庫存區存放若干個完成品,此種庫存控制方法稱為安全庫存量策略(Base-stock policy)。 本研究應用等候線方法建立一個混合式生產系統。定義一般需求的顧客到達系統後馬上被滿足的機率,稱為滿足率(Fill rate);特殊需求顧客到達系統後,顧客在系統的回應時間(Response time)在交付時間(Lead time)內被滿足的機率稱為及時交付率(On-Time-Delivery-Rate;OTDR),滿足率(Fill rate)與及時交付率(On-Time-Delivery-Rate;OTDR)為評估系統的績效指標。滿足率(Fill rate)應用幾何-矩陣法(Matrix-Geometric Method;MGM)求得相對應的極限機率,及時交付率(On-Time-Delivery-Rate;OTDR) 應用吸態(Absorbing state)求得顧客在系統中的回應時間(Response Time)。 本研究也建立多種後製品庫存等候線系統,並應用階段型分配(Phase-type Distribution)去估計顧客在系統中的回應時間(Response time),本研究的目的為估計一個基本庫存水準同時滿足一般訂單需求的滿足率(Fill rate)與及時交付率(On-Time-Delivery-Rate;OTDR)滿足特殊訂單需求。

We consider a hybrid production system producing the standard products for the ordinary demand and custom products for the special demands. Manufacturers, in addition to fulfilling the ordinary demands for standard product by adopting make-to-stock (MTS) production, they need to satisfy special demand and adopt make-to-order (MTO) production. In usual cases, ordinary demands are the planned orders and should be satisfied immediately, however, there is a time window for the customer-oriented demand. The custom product is made by modifying the existing standard product. How to satisfy the ordinary demand immediately upon their arrivals and how to quickly satisfy special demands in time is a challenge to face for this system. In order to satisfy the ordinary demand immediately and shorten the response time of the special demand, we have some initial stock of standard products, of which control policy is called the base-stock policy. We model the hybrid system as a queueing system. In evaluating the systems, the fill rate is defined as the percentage of ordinary demands that are satisfied immediately and the response time is defined as the time from the arrival of a special demand till the demand is satisfied. In this study, we apply matrix - geometric method (MGM) to obtain their corresponding limiting probability, based on which, we obtain the fill rate of the ordinary customer and furthermore, we obtain the response time of the special demand by adopting the absorbing states. However, for a multiple-type customers system, we use phase-type distribution to estimate the response time. Our objective is to estimate the base stock level that the required fill rate of ordinary demands and the On-Time-Delivery-Rate (OTDR) of the special demands are satisfied.
