本研究旨在瞭解高中職餐旅群教師情緒智慧、工作壓力與工作滿意度關係之實際情形,探討背景變項與情緒智慧、工作壓力與工作滿意度之差異分析,分析情緒智慧、工作壓力與工作滿意度三者之關係。本研究透過文獻探討進行資料收集與分析;並針對台灣地區96所設有觀光科與餐飲科之公私立高中職學校為問卷調查的主要對象,共發出752份問卷,回收有效問卷為324份。根據文獻探討結果,發展「高中職餐旅群教師情緒智慧、工作壓力以及工作滿意度關係之研究問卷」為研究工具,進行問卷調查。主要研究結果說明如下: 一、餐旅群教師在情緒智慧、工作壓力與工作滿意度現況分析方面,屬於中度情緒智慧、低度工作壓力及中度工作滿意度。 二、高中職餐旅群教師對情緒智慧之認知,會因不同教師資格而有顯著差異,即專業技術教師在情緒知覺與情緒表達層面的處理上較專任教師及兼任教師佳。 三、高中職餐旅群教師對工作壓力之認知,會因不同教育程度與教學年資而有顯著差異,即大學畢業與年資五年以下之資淺教師之教師在行政工作與專業成長上的工作壓力顯著高於研究所在職專班畢業與資深的教師。 四、高中職餐旅群教師對工作滿意度之認知,會因不同教育程度、教師資格及教學年資而有顯著差異,即研究所在職專班畢業之教師在教學成就的工作滿意度顯著高於大學畢業教師;專任教師與專業技術教師對於工作環境的滿意度較兼任教師顯著;而專業技術教師在溝通互動的滿意度上又較專任教師與兼任教師顯著。 五、高中職餐旅群教師的情緒智慧、工作壓力與工作滿意度三者之間呈顯著相關,其中工作壓力與工作滿意度呈顯著負相關;情緒智慧與工作滿意度呈顯著正相關;工作壓力與情緒智慧呈顯著負相關。
The main purpose of this study is to explore the relationship among emotional intelligence, job stress and job satisfaction of the hospitality and tourism teachers of vocational high schools. Canonical correlation analysis was applied to analyze the variables of emotional intelligence, job stress and job satisfaction to understand the relationship among three elements. The data collection and analysis were mainly through the methods of literature survey. The target population of the questionnaires is the food and beverage departments of 96 public and private schools, 324 effective questionnaires were retrieved from 752 questionnaires altogether. The design and development for “research questionnaire of emotional intelligence, job stress and job satisfaction --- for the teachers of hospitality and tourism group” in order to proceed with the investigation was based on the results of literature review, the depth interview were followed to interview 8 teachers of the food and beverage departments in both Kaohsiung city and county thereafter. The main results of the study were summarized as follows: 1. According to the current situation analysis of emotional intelligence, job stress and job satisfaction, the group of hospitality and tourism teachers showed mid level of emotional intelligence, high level of job stress, and mid level of job satisfaction. 2. There was a significant difference between teachers in emotional intelligence perception due to their different title of position, that is, the specialty technical teachers performed better than those full-time and part-time teachers in dealing with the emotional consciousness and emotional expression. 3. There was a significant difference between teachers in job stress perception due to their different level of education and seniority of teaching, that is, the job stress in administrative task and professional improvement for those teachers with undergraduate degree and have less then 5 years experience in teaching was higher than those seniors with graduate degree. 4. There was a significant difference between teachers in job satisfaction perception due to their different level of education, title of position and seniority of teaching, that is, the job satisfaction in teaching achievement for those teachers with graduate degree was significantly higher than those with undergraduate degree ones; the job satisfaction in working environment for those specialty technical and full-time teachers was more significant than those part-time ones; the job satisfaction in interactive communication for those specialty technical teachers was more significant than those full-time and part-time ones. 5. The significant correlations were found among emotional intelligence, job stress and job satisfaction of the hospitality and tourism teachers of vocational high schools. It showed negative correlation between job stress and job satisfaction, positive correlation between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction, and negative correlation between job stress and emotional intelligence.
