高中化學教材電腦多媒體化

摘要


近年來政府大力推展「資訊科技融入各科教學」的政策下,目前國中小已由所謂的「電腦教室」發展到「教室電腦」,在硬體的設施上投注相當多的財力與人力。然而在軟體的教材上卻不見有重大的改革與突破,無法有效利用現今電腦多媒體技術融入於教材內。軟體的腳步遠跟不上硬體的進步,這是我們需要深思的地方!另一方面,高中化學課程如分子立體模型、分子軌域等實難用幾張圖片就能充分表現出其空間相關性,更不用談黑板板書了。如果能有效結合目前商業繪圖軟體、動畫軟體、化學繪圖軟體、3D繪圖軟體和網頁編寫軟體,而創造出一系列化學多媒體教材,相信不僅使上述問題迎刃而解,對於原先排斥化學的學生也能看書像上網一般輕鬆而提高其興趣。一個二十一世紀教師當先瞭解潮流是無法抵擋的,我們必須善用電腦科技帶來的新奇與便利,讓學生更有興趣地看到以往傳統書本所見不到的東西,進而提高學習的動機與樂趣。

In recent years, the information technologies have been actively used in high school class rooms. The concept of the ‘‘computer classroom’’ has been transferred into ‘‘classroom computer’’ among junior highs and elementary schools. The government has spent a great deal of financial resources and manpower to install computer systems in schools. However, the related software for improving teaching skills has not heavily pursued. Thus, the development of the software for high school teaching is far behind compared to that of the hardware. For instance, 3-D molecular models and atomic orbitals are difficult to draw on blackboards. It will be a great advantage if business-drawings, animation-drawings, chemistry-drawings, 3-D drawings and HTML can be combined to create a series of computer-multimedia teaching materials for chemistry. This technology will certainly raise the interest among students. Moreover, the manipulation of this software incorporating with the web search will be a popular tool for students. The trend of computer-assisted teaching is inevitable and the use of the novel computer technologies and new software should help students to understand more on complicated 3D molecules which are difficult using plastic models.
