台灣職棒球員工作動機與工作成就之研究

A Study on Work Motivation and Work Achievement of Taiwan Professional Baseball Players

摘要

明星球員與精彩的比賽是職棒產業的核心產品，職棒發展的成功與否端視上述兩點的優劣，然而針對職棒球員生涯發展與看法所做的研究卻很少。因此本研究針對中華職棒大聯盟登錄名單上的本土球員，以問卷訪談法進行普查，調查球員的基本資料、對棒球市場、球團與聯盟的看法、自我生涯規劃與需求滿足現狀，並針對上述變項進行分析。研究結果如下：
一、年齡對「擔心退休積蓄不足」、「自我生涯規劃目標達成信心」、「重視職棒事業甚於其他事業」與「生理需求」之間有顯著相關；
二、月薪對「希望退休年齡」、「報章雜誌常有我的球技報導」與「生理需求」之間有顯著相關；
三、是否為原住民身份對「是否從事自我生涯規劃」、「自我生涯規劃目標達成信心」、「將來支持自己的小孩打職棒」與「自我實現需求滿足」之間有顯著相關；
四、出身城鄉與「薪資運用方式」之間有顯著相關；
五、婚姻狀況對「擔心自己體能狀況」、「對黑道介入職棒的擔心程度」、「目前薪資運用方式」之間有顯著相關；
六、簽約金與職棒事業成就動機中「我希望成為職棒中非常傑出的人物」以及「生理需求」之間有顯著相關。
根據上述結論，研究者亦提出以下建議：本研究受限於人力、財力，僅針對台灣地區的職棒球員進行相關探討，建議後續研究者能蒐集美、日兩國職棒球員的相關資料，並加以調查、分析、研究，以提出更完善的建議方案。

Great games and star players were the core products of the professional baseball industry. Both had great influences on professional baseball development, but there were few studies related to the players in Taiwan. The subject focused on the native professional baseball players who were on the roster in Chinese Professional Baseball League. We used questionnaires to investigate basic profiles of players, their opinions towards baseball market and league, career planning, hierarchy of needs and relationship between the items. The results were as followed: 1. Age was significantly correlated with worrying about insufficient retired savings, the confidence of goal achievement in self-career planning, valuing the career of professional baseball more than others, and physiological needs. 2. Salary was significantly correlated with the promising retired age, self baseball skill report on newspaper and magazine, and physiological needs. 3. Human race was significantly correlated with engaging in self-career planning or not, the confidence of goal achievement in self-career planning, supporting children playing professional baseball, and self -actualization. 4. Birth place was significantly correlated with the way of spending salary. 5. Marital status was significantly correlated with worrying about self-physical condition, worrying about the intervention of gangsters, and the way of spending salary. 6. Signing bonus was significantly correlated with hoping to become an outstanding player in professional baseball, and physiological needs.
