The Study of Job Stress and Exercise Behavior in Taipei County Junior High School Administrators Master Thesis, 2005 Yi-Hsiung Feng Advisor: Cheng, Chih-fu. Ed.D. Abstract In this research, the purpose aimed to understand two crucial perspectives: work pressure and pastime, based on the administrative teachers of Junior high school in Taipei country. The analysis, first, focused on the different features of work pressure generated from administrative teachers by comparing to the variances of their backgrounds. Next, the difference of selecting pastime is to be compared in terms of individual background. Final, the correlations between work pressure and pastime is further analyzed. The investigation was purely based on surveys which are issued to administrative teachers in 62 public junior high school within nine areas divided by Taipei County Education Bureau. Director of General Affair were in coordination with collection and returned tasks for follow-up statistic assessment. In the 872 issued surveys, the total amount of valid survey is 732 with 13 incompletion from 745 received surveys, effectives rate was 83.9%. The retrieved questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS for Window 10, All the data of valid samples were analyzed by statistical methods, t - test, one-way ANOVA, one-way MANOVA and Scheffe’s Post-Hoc. The results were as following:and so on. According to the results of analysis, five findings are presented as follows: 1.The work pressure is classified in medium level. 2.The pastime of administrative teachers in Taipei country is relatively less. 3.These administrative teachers who have variances of backgrounds perceive that the existence of work pressure is obviously differences. 4.The pastime involvement is dramatic different in according with individual background. 5.The correlations between work pressure and pastime is positive.
