大學校院培育工藝設計人才核心課程之研究

From the Middle period of the 70′s to 80′s, Craft industry played an important foundation stone of the economic miracle in Taiwan. With the impact of the globalization and the shift of the industrial structure, the craft industry transferred its focus into original designs. And also became the important policy for modern economic industry's development. In the important governmental policy “Challenge 2008 ─National Development Plan”, the sub-project “Cultural and Creative Industry Development Plan” referred to foster talents in creative design industry. The goal was to improve the quality and leveled up the creative design industry in Taiwan. The main purpose of this study was on the base of the national development policy to probe into the core curriculum structure and the intension of craft design in Taiwan. Literature review and delphi techniques were used as the research method in this study. Through adopting against professionals including professors and famous scholars in craft design, the conclusions as follow: 1. The career of craft design talents can be developed in design, teaching, researching, developing, creation, and sale, etc. In the dimension of designing, arranged by the degree of its suitability there were 7 items headed by "the design of stationery and gift ". In the dimension of teaching, arranged by the degree of its suitability there were 2 items headed by "Craft teaching". In the dimension of research and develop, create and sale, arranged by the degree of its suitability there were 4 items headed by "the fashion craft design" 2. The core competency of the training craft design talents can be divided into the foundational core competency and the professional core competency. The degrees of its importance in the foundational core competency were 8 abilities headed by “the ability of design appreciated.” The degrees of its importance in the professional core competency were 19 abilities headed by "Design theory and the ability of the Practice application" 3. The core curriculum of the craft design could be transformed form the foundational core competency and the professional core competency. This research proposed 15 courses that were the main facts belonging to the foundational core curriculum as "Basic Drawing", "Basic Design", etc. 12 courses that were the main facts belonging to the professional core curriculum were as "Design aesthetics", "Originality Design Method", etc.
