本研究旨在探討桃竹苗地區國民中學校長轉型領導與學校行政效能之關係,首先探討校長轉型領導和學校行政效能的現況,其次調查不同背景變項校長轉型領導和學校行政效能的差異,接著分析校長轉型領導和學校行政效能之間的關係,最後探討校長轉型領導對學校行政效能的預測力,並提出個人的結論和建議以供教育行政機關、校長和未來研究人員參考。 本研究以文獻分析和問卷調查法進行研究。問卷對象為桃竹苗地區國民中學校長、主任、組長、導師及專任教師,問卷總共發出535份,有效問卷回收414份。調查所得的資料以SPSS 12.0 版本for Windows進行分析,包括平均數、標準差、t考驗、變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關、逐步多元迴歸分析等統計方法。主要發現如下: 一、桃竹苗地區國民中學教師所知覺校長轉型領導的現況屬於中上程度。 二、桃竹苗地區國民中學教師所知覺學校行政效能的現況屬於中上程度。 三、桃竹苗地區初任校長之國民中學教師所知覺校長轉型領導現況良好,整體及各層面之平均數均比問卷有效樣本來得高。 四、桃竹苗地區初任校長之國民中學教師所知覺學校行政效能現況良好,但整體之平均數比問卷有效樣本來得低,各層面之平均數只有「人際關係與溝通」層面較問卷有效樣本高。 五、桃竹苗地區不同背景變項的國民中學教師所知覺校長轉型領導的程度有所差異。 六、桃竹苗地區不同背景變項的國民中學教師所知覺學校行政效能的程度有所差異。 七、桃竹苗地區國民中學「校長轉型領導」各層面與「學校行政效能」 各層面有極顯著正相關。 八、桃竹苗地區國民中學「校長轉型領導」對「學校行政效能」有顯 著預測力。
The purposes of this study are to explore relationships between principals’ transformational leadership and school administration effectiveness of junior high schools in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Region. First, explore the reality for principals’ transformational leadership and school administration effectiveness. Secondary, the researcher also investigated the diversity of different background variables between principals’ transformational leadership and school administration effectiveness. Thirdly, analyze the relationships between principals’ transformational leadership and school administration effectiveness. Finally, explore predictive efficacy of principals’ transformational leadership and school administration effectiveness, and propose personal conclusion and suggestions to educational administration authority, principals and future researchers. The research methods are literature analysis and questionnaire survey. The survey was targeted for the principals, deans, directors, hierophant and teachers of junior high schools in Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miaoli Region. There are 535 questionnaires totally issued and 414 effective questionnaires are reclaimed. The data is analyzed by SPSS 12.0 version for Windows, inculding average, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Correlation analysis and Multiple stepwise regression analysis. The major findings were: 1. The teachers of junior high schools in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Region perceived an upper level on principals’ transformational leadership. 2. The teachers of junior high schools in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Region perceived an upper level on school administration effectiveness. 3. The first-being principals in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Region all did well in transformational leadership. The average of the whole and each layer is higher than effective questionnaires. 4. The first-being principals in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Region all did well in school administration effectiveness but the whole average is lower than the effective questionnaires. The average of each layer is lower than the effective questionnaires except the layer of “ relationship and negotiation.” 5. The teachers of junior high school in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Region had different perception of principals’ transformational leadership among different background variables. 6. The teachers of junior high school in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Region had different perception of school administration effectiveness among different background variables. 7. There were positive and strongly significant correlations among all dimensions of principals’ transformational leadership and school administration effectiveness of junior high schools in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Region. 8. The principals’ transformational leadership of junior high schools in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli Region had predictive efficacy for school administration effectiveness.
