擇偶型式與婚姻滿意度關係之研究

摘要

本研究的目的為探討擇偶型式對於婚姻滿意度的影響。首先探討不同族群的擇偶型式偏好、接著分析的擇偶型式的不同對於婚姻滿意度是否有影響，最後分析婚姻介紹人的特質對於婚姻滿意度所產生的影響。
本研究使用資料來源為民國八十年的臺灣社會意向調查以及民國九十五年的臺灣社會變遷調查第五其第二次家庭組問卷，兩份問卷刪除未婚者以及同居者等資料，各採取了1279以及1293份有效樣本，並參考中西方文獻以探討擇偶型式與婚姻滿意度的關係。首先探討不同族群對於擇偶型式的喜好。研究結果顯示，年齡大的族群傾向使用傳統的「家裡安排」的擇偶型式，學歷較高的族群較傾向「自己認識」的擇偶型式。在擇偶型式對於婚姻滿意度的影響上，「自己認識」的型式對於婚姻滿意度有顯著的正向影響。然而，婚姻介紹人來自的網絡以及介紹人的學歷、年紀、聯繫強弱對於婚姻滿意度都沒有顯著性的影響。

The purpose of this study is to explore how mate selection patterns influence marital satisfaction. First of all, mate selection patterns of different groups’ preferences will be discussed. Second, we will analyze if different patterns of mate selection may influence marital satisfaction. Finally, there will be an analysis about how characteristics of matchmakers may influence marital satisfaction.
Data used in this study are “Social Image Survey in Taiwan: the Special Essay on June of 1991” and “Taiwan Social Change Survey: Year 2 of Cycle 5 (Questionnaire 1) .” After removing data of unmarried people and cohabitants, 1279 and 1293 effective samples are chosen from each of the data mentioned above. Moreover, Chinese and Western documents about the topic are collected to discuss the relation between mate selection patterns and marital satisfaction. In the beginning, mate selection patterns of different groups’ preferences will be discussed. The results show that older people prefer the traditional "family arrangements" mate selection pattern, well-educated people prefer "romantic love" of the mate selection pattern. The “romantic love” mate selection pattern has a significant positive impact on marital satisfaction. However, the characteristics of matchmakers, including their education, age, social network relationship have no significant effect on marital satisfaction.
