科技日新月異及市場迅速變遷,以致產品生命週期快速縮短,新產品開發之能力,已成為企業進入全球化競爭的基本要件。成功的新產品可為企業帶來龐大的利益與競爭優勢,但失敗亦將導致企業嚴重的損失。企業必須有效率地開發新產品,衡量新產品開發的效率,已逐漸顯現其重要地位。 本研究以三種新產品開發績效的評估方法,分別為資料包絡分析法、灰關聯分析法以及結合灰關聯分析法與資料包絡分析法等,針對新產品開發專案進行其績效衡量。資料包絡分析法可同時將多重投入變數與多重產出變數一並併納入評估模式,具簡單又有彈性之優勢,可依企業或產業特性之需求而調整。但是,其缺點可能因為各個決策單位採用資料類別之間的懸殊差異,容易產生資訊不明確的缺失。以灰關聯分析法則可分析少樣本之數據及多因素分析之特性,並可解決資訊不明確及數據不完整之缺失。但是,無法像DEA法可提供差額變數分析,以瞭解相對無效率單位之產出不足或投入過多之資訊。為克服上述問題,本研究結合灰關聯分析法與資料包絡分析法,將數據以灰關聯分析處理後再導入資料包絡分析模式,先將原始資料進行正規化後,使各項數據立基於同一屬性基礎,因而降低資訊不明確及數據不完整的缺失,使資料包絡分析法的效率值能更真實的呈現,再透過差額變數分析,則可瞭解相對無效率單位的問題是源於產出不足或投入過多的資源,以提供決策者做為新產品開發改善作業之依據。
Rapid changes of science and technology and market have caused product life cycle getting shorter and shorter. The ability to introduce new product has already become the foundation for conpany to compete in globalization. The success of the new products can bring a great number of benefits and gain advantages of competition to company. However, on the contrary, if it is failed, it may cause company to lose seriously. It is therefore that company must develop new products with effective way. The measurement of new product development performance is appearing its important position gradually. This research is focused on three ways of evaluating the new product development performance. Those are the Data Envelopment Analysis approach, the Gay Relational Analysis approach and a combination of the two approaches above. Followed by a case of electrical company in Taiwan for analysis, this research is also aimed at exploring the measurement results to specify the advantages and disadvantages for each of the measurement approach. It is hoped that the results could be considered as the reference for the industry and future study.
