As it was indicated in Introduction to Fluid Mechanics, flow capacity in stabilized pipe is related to the area of the tube and dynamic pressures. However , flow capacity ratio changes if outlet valve size is changed. We want to fine the relation between flow capacity ratio and flow valve size. In experiment we try to prove that, mixed pipe flow is not just the super position of two single pipe flow. In experiment we find that whether the tube was filled or not has a great influence on flow capacity. In order to reduce the size of the outlet valve, a plastic pen was placed in the tube as a core. With the core, the flow capacity ratio between two tubes of the mixed pipe flow is truely more stable.
