單身中年女教師生活適應與老年準備之研究

摘要


本研究旨在探究單身中年女教師生活適應與老年準備,以七位單身中年女教師為對象,說明單身中年女教師的生理適應、心理適應、社會適應,以及對未來的老年生活所做的各項準備。研究者以質性研究的半結構訪談法,訪談七位單身中年女教師,歸納出本研究的結論,如下: 一、單身中年女教師關注外觀和身體的狀況的改變和更年期的適應問題。 二、單身中年女教師對單身生活抱持正面的態度;重新定義「女兒」的角色;和姊妹的感情良好,往來密切。 三、單身中年女教師肯定自己在工作上的表現並擁有志同道合的「老」朋友。 四、單身中年女教師目前選擇與家人同住;年老後規畫請外勞來照顧自己和到養護機構去住並注重身體健康的準備。 五、單身中年女教師採用多元理財規劃準備。 六、社區大學的才藝課程被單身中年女教師喜愛和接受。 七、單身中年女教師樂於擔任志工,離婚族群離婚族群會從宗教尋求心靈的寄託。 根據本研究結果提出相關建議如下: 一、針對政府主管機關的建議為重視單身中年女教師的適應問題、加強老年準備觀念宣導、加強對老人照護機構的管理。 二、對成人與高齡教育機構的建議為利用寒暑假開設有關生活適應課程,讓單身中年女教師有喘息和充電的機會、針對不同族群開設不同的老年準備課程。 三、對單身中年女教師的建議為積極參與活動擴展人際關係、利用現在的空暇時間培養第二專長。

The purpose of this study is to explore single mid-aged female teachers’ life adaptation and aging preparation. The researcher interviewed seven single mid-aged female teachers and described their physiological adaptation, psychological adjustment, social adaptability; and their aging preparation for the future. Using qualitative research, the researcher interviewed seven single mid-aged female teachers with semi-structured outlines. According to the result of analysis, the findings were summarized as follows: 1. Single mid-aged female teachers care about the change of appearance and body , as well as the adjustment of menopausal . 2. Single mid-aged female teachers live their single lives with a positive attitude. They re-define their roles as a “daughter”. They have close relationship with their sisters and visit each other frenquently. 3. Single mid-aged female teachers recognize their own work performance, and have old friends who are in the same camp as themselves. 4. Single mid-aged female teachers choose to live with their family at present. They plan to employ the foreign family caretaker to take care of themselves, or to move to nursing institutes when they are getting old. They also pay attention to physical health preparation. 5. Single mid-aged female teachers have multiple personal financial planning. 6. Single mid-aged female teachers like to go to the handcraft classes in community colleges. 7. Single mid-aged female teachers are pleased to be voluteers; and the divorced ones would like to find peace of mind from religion. Finally, according to the conclusions, this study presents the following suggestions: 1. Government authorities should emphasize the life adaptation of single mid-aged female teachers, strengthen on the campaign of aging preparation, and strengthen the management of elderly care facilities. 2. The adult and elder learning institutions should offer life adaptation courses for single mid-aged female teachers in summer and winter vacations, in order that they can take a break and refresh themselves; b.should offer variuos aging preparation courses for different groups. 3. Single mid-aged female teachers should positively anticipate activities to expand their interpersonal relationship, and train themselves to have second Second expertise by using leisure time.
