高齡學習者社會支持、情緒管理與成功老化關係之研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討高齡學習者的社會支持、情緒管理與成功老化的關係。為達研究目的,本研究採用問卷調查法,以中部四縣市樂齡學習中心55歲以上的高齡學習者為研究對象,採用分層比率隨機抽樣,共抽取有效樣本792人;研究工具為「高齡學習者社會支持、情緒管理與成功老化調查問卷」,包含「個人基本資料」、「社會支持量表」、「情緒管理量表」及「成功老化量表」等四部分,問卷資料經進行統計分析後,獲得以下九項結論: 一、高齡學習者的社會支持大致良好,屬於中上程度,其中以「情感性支持」占最多數。 二、高齡學習者的社會支持與個人背景變項有關。 三、高齡學習者的情緒管理大致良好,屬於中上程度,其中以「情緒的覺察」占最多數。 四、高齡學習者的情緒管理與性別、婚姻狀況、經濟狀況、健康狀況、居住情形等變項有關,與年齡、教育程度無關。 五、高齡學習者的成功老化大致良好,屬於中上程度,其中以「生活自主」得分較佳。六、高齡學習者的成功老化與性別、經濟狀況、健康狀況等變項有關,而與年齡、教育程度、婚姻狀況、居住情形無關。 七、高齡學習者的社會支持與成功老化具有正相關。 八、高齡學習者的情緒管理與成功老化具有正相關。 九、高齡學習者背景變項、社會支持及情緒管理對成功老化具有預測力,且情緒管理為中介變項。 根據上述研究結論,本研究提出以下建議: 一、對高齡學習者之建議 (一)活絡社會支持網絡,提升正向情緒,以提高成功老化。 (二)高齡學習者應保持積極樂觀的態度,加強自我的正向情緒。 (三)經濟狀況不佳、健康情形不良者,應積極促進社會支持,做好情緒管理,以達成成功老化。 二、對高齡教育機構及政府部門之建議 (一)高齡教育機構應鼓勵學習者加入相關社團,開設健康管理、社會支持課程,以達到成功老化。 (二)政府應研討全民運動計畫,以提升高齡者的健康,促進社會支持、情緒管理及成功老化。 關鍵詞:高齡學習者、社會支持、情緒管理、成功老化

The main purposes of this study were to investigate the relationship among social support, emotional management and successful aging of elder learners. A questionnaire survey method was used in the study. The participants were 792 elder learners attending the Senior Citizens Learning Centers in central Taiwan. A set of survery instruments entitled “The Social Support, Emotional Management and Successful Aging Questionnaire For Elder Learners” were used to collect data. The conclusions drawn from the result of statistical analysis are as follows: 1.Elder learners received mid- to high-level of social support. 2.Elder learners’degrees of social support were significantly related to their background variables,including gender, ages, educational level, marital status, health status, economic status, and housing situation. 3. Elder learners exercised mid- to high-level of emotional management. 4. Elder Learners’s background variables, including gender, marital status, health status, economic status, and religion, were significantly related to their degrees of emotional management. 5. Elder learners achieved mid- to high-level of successful aging. 6. Elder learners’ background variables, including gender, health status, and marital status, were significantly related to their successful aging. 7. Elder learners’ social support was significantly related to their successful aging . 8. Elder learners’ emotional management was significantly related to their successful aging. 9. Elder learners’s successful aging could be predicted by their background variables, emotional, social support, and emotional management. Besides, the effect of social support on successful aging was meditated by emotional management among elder learners. Based on the aforementioned conclusions,suggestions for elder learners, intitutions of senior citizens education and government agencies, and future researchers are proposed.
