本論文主要是提出一種新的量測技術,透過波導光柵結構穿透光之TE和TM模態相位差的方法來建構一種建基於量測相位差變化的折射率變化感測技術。 此種相位量測技術主要是利用Stokes parameter畫出龐加萊球再計算出相位差來得到折射率變化與相位差的關係。 藉由覆蓋糖水樣品我們可以得知相位差的量測方法所得偵測敏感度約為穿透率變化所得10倍,而在覆蓋DE-PMMA樣品可發現利用量測相位差變化方法遠較利用量測穿透率變化方法來的敏感。
The purpose of this thesis is to propose a new technique of measurement, through the phase difference of TM and TE modes of transmission light of grating structure for GMR, a technique of measuring variation of reflective index based on phase difference can be established. The basic principle of this method is to use Stokes parameter to sketch Poincare sphere, then calculate phase difference to obtain the relationship between the change of reflective index and phase difference. By measuring the sample covered by sugar water, the phase difference measurement shows that the detection sensitivity is ten times more than variation of transmission does. As for the sample which is covered by DE-PMMA, the sensitivity is higher for measurement based on phase difference than measuring the change in transmission.
