新移民婦女母職與其青少年子女親子互動之研究

The Research on The Motherhood of Immigrant Females and The Parent-child Interaction with Their Teenage Children

摘要


台灣社會的人口結構,隨著跨國婚姻與其第二代子女數漸增,儼然已經成為台灣社會五大族群之一。由於橫跨不同文化、語言、民族性、風俗等環境,新移民婦女與青少年子女在大環境及青春期生心理成長轉折的交融下,其親子互動的議題是值得我們關注的。 本研究旨在理解家有青少年子女的新移民婦女母職與親子互動經驗,透過傾聽親子的對話與心聲,進一步瞭解雙方互動經驗的樣貌。藉由質性研究方法,以半結構式的深度訪談蒐集資料,邀請六組家庭之母親與青少年子女一同參與研究,先親子共同訪談,再進行個別訪談,所得21份文本採用主題分析法進行資料分析。經過文本資料的整理,本研究歸納出「異鄉母職之路」、「子職的文化認同」、「親子互動內涵」及「覺察與展望」四個主題來詮釋新移民婦女母職與其青少年子女親子互動之經驗與內涵。研究發現青少年子女與母親在互動關係上呈現分離與依戀的拉拒,但子方對母族文化的認同及對母親關愛的主觀感受是拉近親子距離的主因。而在充滿挑戰與困境的母職經驗中,新移民婦女也因為孩子的存在與回饋,更激發出她們內在「為母則強」的正向能量。最後,根據研究結果與討論,為新移民家庭、社福機構及未來研究提出建議與省思。

With the increasing population of the second generation born under transnational marriage, Taiwan population structure has been changed. They become the one of five majored races. Due to difference in culture, language, national characteristic, customs, etc, the issue about parent-child interaction between newly immigrant females and their teenage children is worth us to focus on it. This research aims to understand the immigrant females’ experience in motherhood and the parent-child interaction with their teenage children. Through listening to the dialogue and thoughts between mother and children, parent-child interaction can be further understood. Researcher uses qualitative research method and conducts the semi-structured interviews to develop the texts. Mother and children from six families were invited as the participants in the research, who were interviewed together first, and then individually. According to thematic analysis and intersubjective agreement with the participants, four essential themes were identified to annotate the texts of parent-child interaction between the immigrant females and their teenage children. The themes were developed as follows: (a) immigrant females’ motherhood experiences; (b) children’s identification on mothers’ cultures; (c) the content of parent-child interaction; (d) findings and future exception. According to the research findings, mothers and children are estranged and closed at the same time. The parent-child relationship influenced mainly by children’s attitude toward on mother’s culture identification and the personal feelings on mother’s cares. In the difficult and challenging maternal experiences, the immigrant females are still fulfilled with positive energy and power, incurring by children’s existence and feedback, that is so-called “Being a mother makes women more vigorous”. Finally, based on these common themes and results, some thinking and suggestions are proposed to the newly immigrant families, social welfare centers and the future research.
