This study examines whether the ownership structure and income diversification will affect bank performance. Using research samples for developed countries, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, developing countries, Africa, for a total of six regions, the study period from 2002 to 2013.The empirical results show that the ownership structure and the diversification will increase the bank performance and the bank stability. This reasonable explanation of the ownership structure and the diversification and thus the bank performance is causal relationship. When the bank wants to increase the bank performance profit, Strategy, and the ownership structure is an important factor affecting the bank's diversification strategy. The ownership structure is an important determinant of bank diversification, which in turn affects bank performance.
