關於前哨淋巴結活檢之淋巴閃爍造影(淋巴影像)尋找前哨淋巴結是有困難的,因為淋巴影像中剩餘的放射性藥物會從注射點開始擴散一起映射到影像上,導致檢測前哨淋巴結的難度增加,特別是靠近注射點的位置。而前哨淋巴結活檢主要應用在乳癌手術前,將切割出的前哨淋巴結拿去篩檢,檢查癌細胞有無擴散到前哨淋巴結。 因此我們希望能將淋巴影像更清晰的顯示出來,由於淋巴影像屬於高動態範圍之影像,所以本論文以色調映射(tone mapping)的方法將高動態範圍的淋巴影像轉換成低動態範圍。我們也將著重探討如何有效取得注射點位置,並利用Otsu的方法自動找出適當的門檻值,將淋巴影像進行切割,以便進行淋巴影像之分析。
It is very hard to detect sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) in Lynphoscintigrams of Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB), because radiopharmaceuticals of injection points diffuse to Lynphoscintigrams, especially in the surrounding of the injection point. The SLNB is mainly used in early examination of breast cancer before surgery; doctor will take the SLN to screening whether the cancer metastasis to the SLN. In this thesis, we will develop a segmentation technique to clearly show the Lynphoscintigrams. Because the Lynphoscintigrams is recorded as high dynamic range image, we convert Lynphoscintigrams of high dynamic range into low dynamic range by appropriate tone mapping. This research also proposes an effective method, which the modified Otsu method is used to automatically determine the threshold value, to obtain the position of injection points. Simulation results show that the proposed method achieves satisfactory performance.
