流動地景-以台中一中街夜市空間為例

摘要

由於人口密度及生活型態等眾多條件的差異，使得台灣城市的街道在使用上，較西方城市更為頻繁。尤其在我們的城市中，並沒有所謂的公共空間觀念，很多活動都是在街道上發生，以白天到夜晚的街道使用狀態來相互對照為例，白天的道路空間為車行使用，夜晚則轉變為人公開的使用。又如：夜市的道路空間猶如公共餐廳，提供民眾一起來享用；街道空間到了夜晚更成為我們重要的都市生活空間。因此，選擇以夜市為研究對象並從常民生活的角度來觀察，藉以探索此一特定場所中所蘊含的空間特性。
在研究過程與方法中，首先藉由分析夜市街道空間中的使用之特性、機能、活動的類型、分布、時間來檢視此一空間所形成的現象，再進一步探究其現象背後的成因，從而反思台灣街道空間塑造的現況，並利用此現象背後所形成的機制作為設計操作之依據。最後，依照研擬之策略(街道餐廳)結合現況環境既有的空間，並以流動之概念重新詮釋台灣的都市空間，企圖提出一種不同於亞洲文化地景的新思考。

Because the differences between population density and life style, streets in Taiwan are more frequently used than in western cities. Especially the concept of public space does not exist; therefore, many activities took place on roads.
In the daytime, cars occupy streets while people make use of them at night in comparison of different using period. For example, night market streets open for people to use as a public restaurant. The space of roads has become important for our city life at nights. Hence, I select night market to do research and investigate certain characteristics at a particular place from the public’s perspectives.
In the research, I will analyze the characteristics, functions, and types of activities of night market streets space to view its phenomenon as well as how it forms. Furthermore, reexamine present situation of Taiwan streets space and based on the background of this phenomenon to redesign. Finally, connected my draft plan （streets restaurants) with current environmental space to redefine Taiwan city space in order to prompt a new landscape thought of Asia culture.
