採用雙熱電致冷模組的冷敷裝置之設計

摘要 冷療為一種物理治療法,常被廣泛應用於退燒、運動傷害、肌肉骨骼傷害、急性燒傷、關節炎等情況,對於降低患者的疼痛,消腫、消炎有顯著的效果。 市售的冰敷袋常見的填充物為水或化學藥劑、冰塊,一般皆需存放在冰箱冷藏才可使用。從冰箱拿出使用也可能因溫度太低,造成皮膚凍傷、神經麻痺等二次傷害。為了改善冷療時所造成的不便,本研究利用兩組熱電致冷模組開發一種新型冷敷裝置。針對新型冷敷裝置內系統的擺放、風扇的轉速及擺放、水冷頭的設計進行實驗探討。由實驗得知,改良的銅製水冷頭,可在10分鐘,使冷敷袋水溫從25℃降至17.3℃,達到目標溫度範圍15℃至18℃間。 為考量產品化,機殼組裝時,採用孔隙率較佳的蜂巢網狀濾網和新型濾網,可較先前採用的濾網,使冷敷袋溫度在10分鐘內多下降0.7℃,達到目標溫度範圍15℃到18℃內。 關鍵字 : 熱電致冷模組、帕爾帖致冷器、熱電效應、熱電系統

Abstract Cooling therapy is a kind of Physical Therapy that is usually used for cases of fever, sports injuries, muscle injury, acute burns and arthritis. Cooling therapy had great therapeutic effect for relieving pain and reducing swell. The ice packs from the market are always filled with water, ice, or phase change material. Those should be frozen before using and its low temperature may hurt the patient’s nerve or skin. To improve the inconvenience caused by the low temperature of ice etc, this research developed a new cold therapeutic device with twin thermoelectric coolers. From the experimental results, it is found that the design of water header, fan’s speed and fan’s position will improve the cooling performance to reach the target temperature of 15℃ to 18℃. The water header has been manufactured with copper. Then, the water pack temperature can be decreased from 25℃ to 17.3℃ as expected. Considering the improvement for the future study, the air filter is to use a new type of honeycomb grid filter to have better porosity. The target temperature region is 15℃ to 18℃. The temperature of water pack will be decreased 0.7℃ more as expected for this design. Keyword: Thermoelectric Cooler, Peltier Cooler, Thermoelectric Effect, Thermoelectric System.
