生產管理做法與其對製造績效的影響

THE IMPACTS OF PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT PRACTICES ON MANUFACTURING PERFORMANCE

摘要


近二十餘年來與生產作業有關的管理理念與做法,包括從豐田生產方式的JIT及時生產、精實生產、全面生產保養、全面品質管理、供應鏈管理、敏捷生產等方興未艾。每項做法有其主張及優勢,而二十餘年來產業環境的變遷,製造業急速飽和,面對更大的同業競爭,而產品生命週期因應顧客喜好及需求不斷創新進而普遍縮短,台灣製造業面對此時此刻的市場環境,到底哪些做法對製造績效確實有顯著影響? 雖然過去已有許多個別的研究,但綜合上述六種生產管理做法的研究則較少,因此本研究擬進行綜合性的實證研究,以期能分析對製造績效有顯著正向影響的生產管理做法。在統計分析方法上使用探索性因素分析,讓六項生產管理做法不侷限於原本的分類,找出共同影響製造績效的潛在做法。 本研究採取便利抽樣方式,針對台灣區電機電子工會名錄抽取1500名樣本,以郵寄的方式進行資料收集,回收後扣除無效樣本之樣本數為204份樣本。先進行探索性因素分析萃取出四項生產管理做法,分別命名為高層支持及持續改善、現場保養及製程管制、模組化生產及流程整合、供應鏈管理。再以這四種生產管理做法與製造績效進行結構方程式模型(Structural Equation Model, SEM)分析,結果顯示這四種生產管理做法均對製造績效有正向顯著之影響。

There are many concepts and practices of production management in last two decades, including JIT practices, lean production, total prevent management, total quality management, supply chain management …etc. Each practice has its concept and advantage. Environment became different, so each firm faces more competitively situation, and product life cycle became shorter commonly due to favor and demand of customer. In Taiwan, manufacture firms face the environment as above, how to decide their production practice? How can they know which practice will influent manufacture performance significantly? Despite of many researches about individual practices are found, seldom did it in integrated way. According to integrate six production management practices, this study explored the practices which have significant and positive impact on manufacture performance. Compare with the studies before, this study provide a integrated and comprehensive study by empirical data. In sum up, it gives specific advices which can be commonly used by manufacturers in Taiwan. This study adopted convenience sampling as sampling method, mailed 1500 samples with questionnaire, and samples were elected from Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association. Collected 204 after deleting samples which are invalid. First, the empirical data were conducted with exploratory factor analysis to extract four production management practices, and then named them as following: top management commitment and Kaizen practice, field maintenance and process control practices, modular production and process integration practices, and supply chain management practices. Second, SEM (Structural Equation Model) analysis were conducted, the results show that all four practices have positively and significant impact on manufacture performance.
