The medical research institute of The United States (Institute of Medicine, IOM) has pointed out in the 1999 report of “To Err Is Human” that because of medical negligence made during medical care, it caused approximately 44,000 to 98,000 deaths every year, ranking the eighth in the cause of death. It’s also one of the reasons for medical negligence prevention to spend over 50% over budget of the annual spending (17 billion - 29 billion dollars). Rockville pointed out in 2000 that during medical treatment process, 70% of medical negligence can be used to design safety systems to achieve patient medical safety. To date, no research to medical institutions for the use of RFID technology to do the influencing factors assessment. In this study, medical institutions have been integrating RFID Clinical Information Systems, using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to investigate the usefulness, ease of use and behavioral intention, to assess the medical staff to quantify the use of RFID information system to facilitate the work of behavioral intention and analysis of the overall structure and the correlation between the surface and provides high-level administrators with useful information, as medical institutions to promote RFID clinical Information System reference.
