Search Symbol (Half-width)	Description of Search Symbols
Space	"AND" indicates the intertwining of key terms used in a search
Double Quotation Marks ("") ( " " )	Double quotation marks indicate the beginning and end of a phrase, and the search will only include terms that appear in the same order of those within the quotations. Example: "image process" ： " image process "
?	Indicates a variable letter. Entering two ? will indicate two variable letters, and so on. Example: "Appl?", search results will yield apple, apply… e , appl y … ( (often used to English word searches) )

Using DOI as a persistent link

To create a persistent link, add「http://dx.doi.org/」「 http://dx.doi.org/ 」 before a DOI.
For instance, if the DOI of an article is 10.5297/ser.1201.002 , you can link persistently to the article by entering the following link in your browser: http://dx.doi.org/ 10.5297/ser.1201.002 。
The DOI link will always direct you to the most updated article page no matter how the publisher changes the document's position, avoiding errors when engaging in important research.

Cite a document with DOI

When citing references, you should also cite the DOI if the article has one. If your citation guideline does not include DOIs, you may cite the DOI link.

For centuries, women have been living in agony for pursuing superficial beauty. Suffering from the price of striving to be “beautiful” both mentally and physically, women have been growing up with the nightmare of being beautiful.  Modern women assert that “A woman can be herself by mastering her body.” Although it seems like fighting for this kind of freedom is nothing but for women themselves, behind the scheme, it is actually coming from the oppression of the patriarchy. Getting to the bottom of the phenomenon, women are, in fact, pursuing the superficial beauty to build self-confidence and get the gaze and appreciation from men. On top of that,the media constantly creates a model female image which standardizes beauty and worships thinness and youth. Women are unconsciously indoctrinated and persuaded with the idea that there is no ugly woman in the world but lazy woman. This study probes into the phenomenon of unhealthy diet and plastic surgery and creates works,basing on its findings.    This study demonstrates its theme with collage.  Nowadays, the collage skills are more and more diversified.  This work tries new ways, studying the meaning of collage material, to demonstrate more of the theme.  Incorporating the semiology in the work and discussing the connections between the mirror stage and women’s superficial beauty pursuit, the theme is demonstrated in three collections of eleven works.  In this way, I hope thatthe concepts that the works tries to covey are able to be communicated to the audience and then, bring some retrospection.
