竹單板-碳纖維布複合材之性質探討

Properties of Bamboo Veneer-Carbon Fiber Sheet Composites

摘要


本研究使用孟宗竹旋切單板與碳纖維布研製竹單板-碳纖維布複合板,分析不同層數竹單板-碳纖維布複合板的性質,評估作為手機保護背蓋材料之可行性。試驗結果顯示,複合板在配置碳纖維布強化後,複合板在垂直纖維方向的收縮率會從0.60%降至0.21~0.24%,其他方向的收縮率也會較未配置碳纖維布的複合板減少,表示碳纖維布有提升複合板尺寸安定性的效果。由於碳纖維布的低吸水性,配置碳纖維布的複合板會比純竹材複合板的含水率減少14~45%。配置碳纖維布會增加複合材的密度,使用單位面積重量愈大的碳纖維布會使複合板的密度愈高。同時,配置碳纖維布具有增加複合板垂直纖維方向上的強度的效果,各型複合板在垂直纖維方向的MOR增加大約64~298%,透過碳纖維布強化的方式可增加複合板的抗彎強度及彈性模數,達到或超過市售竹材手機保護背蓋的抗彎強度。

The main objective of this study was to investigate the properties of composite board which was composed of Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) rotary-cut veneers and carbon-fiber sheet (CFS), and to analyze the influence of carbon-fiber sheet on the properties of different layers of composite boards. The experimental results showed that the composite board with CFS inner layers, the shrinkage rates of the composites in the vertical fiber direction would decrease from 0.60% to 0.21~0.24%, and shrinkage rates were also reduced in other directions, it indicated that the CFS would improve the dimensional stability of composite board. Due to the low water absorption of CFS, the moisture content of composite board with CFS would be reduced by 14~45% compared with the pure bamboo composites. CFS in inner layer increased the density of the composite board, composite board applied with higher unit-weight CFS would get higher density. CFS also would improve increase the bending strength of composite board. The MOR of composite board with CFS increased by about 64 to 298% in the vertical fiber direction, the MOE of composite board with CFS also increased.
