Of the 16 plants mentioned in this article, 14 species appear as newly recorded or recently naturalized to the weed flora of Taiwan. They belong to 8 families and 13 genera, of which 5 species are the members of the Aster family. The Najadaceae has been reinvestigated. A Chinese name is given for each species and 4 detailed line drawings are presented.
