The Effects of Pinning on Vortex-Pair Production in Superconducting Films

The effects of pinning on vortex-pair production has been calculated for superconducting films for temperature below the Berezinsky-Kosterlitz-Thouless transition. The nonlinear flux-flow resistivity in the presence of perpendicular magnetic field and current is also calculated. The results agree with those obstained by B. I. Ivlev et al. when the effects of pinning is neglected.
