磷酸胍熱浸處理紅柳桉單板之熱重量分析

Thermal Degradation Analysis of Hot Steeping Guanidine Phosphate Treated Red Lauan Veneer

摘要


木質材料為建築裝潢以及裝飾方面最常使用之材料,但為了提升居住安全,應用抗燃藥劑注入降低木材易燃性,方能持續提升木材利用。本研究將紅柳桉單板以5%及10%磷酸胍抗燃藥劑,於60℃作熱浸處理,再藉由熱重量分析(TGA)及氧指數分析,探討熱浸磷酸肌對試材熱裂解反應特性、活化能及燃燒特性之影響。與未處理材相較,以10%磷酸胍濃度處理之柳桉單板,殘炭生成由15.1%提升為24.2%,熱重量分析曲線上之起始裂解溫度較低,熱重量差異曲線峰值溫度及差異高度降低,起始裂解活化能由130提升為181kJ/mole,氧指數由20提升為45。因此本研究證實磷酸胍熱浸處理可促進紅柳桉單板燃燒後炭層之形成,並降低單板燃燒性。

Wood is the most popular decorative and interior construction materials. To ensure building public safety, the reduction of wood flammability by fire retardant impregnation is imperative for promoting further utilization of wood. 5% and 10% guanidine phosphate solution was impregnated in Red Lauan by hot steeping at 60℃. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and oxygen index measurements were applied to investigate the impact of guanidine phosphate on thermal degradation, activation energies and flammability of treated red Lauan veneer. Compared with untreated veneer, residual char yields increased from 15.1 to 24.2%, TGA initial degradation temperatures decreased, peak temperatures and height of differential thermal analysis decreased, initial degradation activation energy increased from 130 to 181 kJ/Mole, LOT values increased from 20 to 45 after treated by 10% guanidine phosphate. Hence this study demonstrated that hot steeping guanidine phosphate treatment is able to promote protective char layer formation and to improve red Lauan veneer flammability.
