科學工作流程系統(Kepler)在二氧化碳通量計算上之應用

摘要


本研究主要的目的為建立一個可以共用的二氧化碳通量數據管理與計算的流程架構,並選取目前已在科學研究上使用的共享軟體Kepler系統作為此架構的工具,利用棲蘭山已完成的氣象塔通量測量數據測試此一架構,以期提供台灣未來通量研究標準化資料蒐集管理與計算的參考。結果顯示Kepler系統可以解決目前通量觀測數據計算工作存在的繁瑣過程、需開發軟體、及處理費時造成無法及時進行資料管理的問題;除此,藉由建立後設資料分離原始數據的做法,可以解決巨大資料量的倉儲困境,並能使資料分享流通有一個可以分散作業的平台。

The purpose of the present study is to develop a framework which can be used by researchers who are dealing with carbon dioxide flux data management and computing. Kepler, a scientific workflow system, was adopted as the tool of this framework. We used flux data collected from Chilan flux towers to test the framework. The result showed that Kepler system could be used to solve data management and computing issues such as complicate process of computing, the lack of software, time consuming on data handling and cleaning and real time data management. In addition, we chose the approach to use metadata as data content description and separate metadata from raw data storage. This approach indicated a useful tool kit in solving the archiving difficulty of the large volume of flux raw data, documentation of the whole calculation process and sharing the data and workflow through a distributed operation platform.
