A Supernumerary Tooth in Mandibular Anterior Region-Case Report

摘要

贅生牙在下顎門牙區是相當少見的，依據相關的文獻搜尋，其發生率約僅佔贅生牙中之2%，本報告中為下顎兩乳犬齒之問有一贅生牙之病例，測顱片(cephalometric film)分析結果為有輕微骨骼性三級咬合(skeletal Class Ⅲ)傾向的病例，但無法排除其是否為因牙齒錯咬導致之假性(pseudo)三級咬合，建議可先拔除與牙弓較不和諧的患牙進行矯正，之後再密切觀察其生長發育是否仍有三級咬合傾向，屆時再決定是否未來要再進一步做矯治。由於台灣地區相關之病例報告少見，較為特殊，故進行相關之文獻回顧並提出病例報告。

The incidence of a eumorphic supernumerary incisor in the mandible is rare. Very few cases of 5 mandibular incisors have been reported in the literature, and no such cases have been reported from Taiwan yet. The case presented here is a rare incidence of a supernumerary incisor between the mandibular left and right deciduous canines. Cephalometric analysis further showed a slight skeletal class Ⅲ tendency. This tendency was likely caused by the anterior crossbite and thus is a pseudo-class Ⅲ case. We suggested removal of the unaligned tooth, orthodontic treatment, and then follow-up of the patient's development to see if further orthodontic treatment is needed,
