The purpose of this study attempts to explore the sources of interestingness in person interpretation at Back-Cihu. In-depth interviews with 48 respondents were conducted. Through content analysis, the study extracted three interestingness sources dimensions of person interpretation. They are tourism resources-related, narrator-related, and tourist-related. The tourism resources-related dimension includes natural resources and artificial resources. The narrator-related dimension involves professional training and personal traits. The tourist-related dimension contains tourist qualities and partner traits. Practical implications and future research directions are also proposed for creating an interesting atmosphere, training narrators, and servicing tourists.
