Acaulopage tetraceros, a new record of an amoeba-capturing zoopagaceous fungus in Taiwan
臺灣捕蟲黴科阿米巴蟲捕捉性真菌之新紀錄種四犄黏球孢菌
摘要
An amoeba-capturing fungus in the genus Acaulopage (Zoopagaceae) was obtained on a water agar plate that had been incubated with a pinch of moss sampled from the river bank in a canyon of Miaoli County. The fungal material was observed by using a stereomicroscope and DIC microscopy. The Miaoli strain is identified as Acaulopage tetraceros based on morphological characters and represents the first record of Acaulopage in Taiwan.
