There are many studies dealing with textbook’s gender issue in Taiwan. However, theses studies don’t pay attention to the production and censorship of textbooks. This study discusses how patriarchal ideology operates within the textbook production, primarily from the dynamic viewpoint. In other word, this study tries to dialogue with the related studies and emphasizes not only text but also context with the method of “restoring the multilated text”. The description of gender unjust conditions always disappear in censorship process and textbooks show beterosexual character in the hidden structure. How to put false ideology to the end? This study suggests that persons with gender view can take part in the production and censorship of textbook on one hand, and teachers and students with abilities can rewrite and reflect the false ideology on other hand.
