The model of the isolated state built in the study can be used to explore the division of labor in the city and the rural area, and the amount of land distributed for residence and agriculture. By numerical analyses, we have determined the results of the comparative static analysis for the exogenous variables, the effects of different indices for commodities in the utility function, and the results of changes in the transportation rate for grail. All numerical analyses consistently show that the size of urban labor is bigger than that of rural labor. The ratio of agricultural land area to residential one is much smaller than the one we usually know. Those results provide a valuable reference for dealing with national land resource allocation. It is recommended to do au empirical study to test those predictions with data from countries over the world.
