摘要


隨著資訊科技的精進,高科技的資訊產品都以「輕、薄、短、小」,包裹著一個「黑箱」的形態呈現給消費者。面對這種「高科技」卻忽略「人性化」的產品,消費者往往不知所措,無所適從。電子書是這種典型的高科技產品之一;因此,如何利用人因工程,透過使用者介面的設計,來彌補使用者與產品之間的鴻溝,是工業設計師努力的重要課題。本研究在前階段透過客觀之實驗設計,進行電子書與傳統書的使用性工程評估,包含閱讀速度與正確率,客觀視覺疲勞-視覺頻閃(Critical Flicker Fusion, CFF)、主觀疲勞-Borg CR-10 scale、主觀心智負荷-NASA Task Load Index (TLX)。研究結果顯示傳統書在各項評估均優於電子書。本階段為整合影響電子書閱讀的主客觀因素,提出電子書在閱讀與使用上的設計改善建議,作為日後電子書相關產品設計的參考。

”E” life, a new trend to influence people's daily life since internet explored. No product or concept can be successful if it ignores the needs of its users and E-book is no exception. However, there has been a noticeable lack of real information about how E-book is used. The objective of this study is to establish a series of surveys in an effort to help readers in the use of E-book. With the changing of the trends, the development or E-book design should also strive to accommodate to such a change. The assertion in this project has been concentrated mostly on the human E-book interaction. E-book has a variety difference from the traditional book in reading approach and using behavior. The procedures adopted for the assessment included the current E-book survey, a design analysis and a subjective preference evaluation. This stage is focusing design approach based on the experimental finding which included the effect of interface usability, visual fatigue, Critical Flicker Fusion (CFF) evaluation and subjective preference. The considerations of E-book are suggested for designing E-book in the future. Once the affected issues of usability has been established, designers can get the relative understanding of developing ergonomic designed in E-book development.
