雙親教養態度量表中文版之信效度研究

摘要

本研究探討Parker所編訂的雙親教養態度量表(Parental Bonding Instrument, PBI)，在跨文化因素的影響下於本國的適用性。雙親教養態度量表屬於自陳式量表，評估個案在16歲前記憶中雙親的教養態度及行為。此量表共25題，其中關懷因素(care)12題，保護因素(protect-tion)13題。研究中將Parker雙親教養態度量表翻譯成中文，再回譯為英文，達成文字之修飾後經預拭，再使用項目分析、因素分析、內在一致性信度及再測信度的方式，測試雙親教養度量表中之信度與建構效度。研究對象為正常年輕人160位，男性87位，女性73位。研究結果顯示量表中均含關懷(12題)及保護(13題)兩個因素，並且因素所拈之變異數百分比與國外文獻相類似；另外，再測信度為0.66-0.88, Cronbachl's α係數0.65-0.73 均在可接受的範圍之內。因此，研究結果顯示中文版的雙親教養態度量表，可適用於本國。

The purpose of this study is to explore the adaptability of the Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI), designed by Parker, under the cross-cultural influences in Taiwan. The PBI is a 25-item self-report measure, with subjects scoring parental attitudes and behaviors as remembered for their first 16 years of life in terms of two dimensions: care and protection. A total of 160 normal young subjects were recruited for this study. First, the PBI was translated into Chinese. Then the subjects were given a pretest. After that, we applied item analysis, principle component analysis, internal consistency analysis, and test-retest methods to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version PBI. The results show that the “care” and “protection’ factors exist in this normal group. Also, the total variances of these two factors are similar to those reported from other countries. Moreover, test-retest reliability ranges from 0.66 to 0.88, and Cronbach’s α is between 0.65 and 0.73. The factors extracted are reduced to two. Factor analysis of the 25 items reveals that a two-factor model fits the data well. Therefore, the results of this study indicate that the Chinese version of PBI is adaptable to Taiwanese culture.
