This study aimed to investigate the effect of various weight ratio of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) on the blending morphology, melting behavior, crystalline behavior, and thermal properties of impact-resistance polypropylene (PP). From the test results, SEM images shown that the morphology of PP/TPU blends become rougher and the particle size of TPU with an increasing addition of TPU. DSC results revealed that the addition of TPU would cause the decreasing crystalline and melting enthalpy of PP, while would not significantly influence the crystalline and melting temperature. TGA results indicated that the increasing addition of TPU led to higher thermal degradation temperatures of PP/TPU blends in every step.
