影響護專學生身體評估技術課程學習態度與學習成效之相關因素探討

Exploration of Factors Related to Learning Attitude and Learning Outcome among Nursing Students in Physical Examination Skills Course

摘要


身體評估課程是教育部頒定護理學生必修的專業科目,其能協助學生收集病患健康情形的相關資訊,以利運用護理知識於照護病患活動,本研究旨在探討護專學生學習身體評估技術課程的學習態度與學習成效及其影響因素,經文獻回顧形成「身體評估技術學習態度量表」,採Likert五分量表,以此結構式問卷調查北部某專科學校五專三年級學生,於95年1月修習完身體評估技術課程後隔週,分別集合各班學生由非此課程之護理老師協助發放並回收問卷,共發出295份問卷,回收計得254份,回收率爲86.10%,有效問卷爲236份,課程進行過程中並以身體評估技術授課老師所編訂之探作手卅進行評量,以獲得學生學習成效,結果發現:(1)學生對身體評估技術課程的學習態度爲3.33,其中學習焦慮爲2.83。(2)學生對身體評估技術課程的學習成效爲69.67。(3)家長管教方式、學生生涯規劃、課程學習前技術見習次數及學生住家區域與學習態度。成效有顯著相關。(4)學習態度與學習成效呈顯著正相關,愈正向的學習態度愈能達到較高的學習成效。(5)學習信心是學習成效的重要預測因子,可解釋總變異數的16.1%。本研究結果可提供護理相關課程教師擬定課室教學與輔導策略,而能達成具體提昇學生學習成效。

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between students' backgrounds and learning attitude and outcome in nursing students who were taking Physical Examination Skills course. Two hundred and thirty six senior college students who were taking the course were conveniently sampled from a 5-year nursing program. The results showed that: (1) students’ attitude toward this course was 3.33 and anxiety level was 2.83; (2) students' average performance of this course was 69.67; (3) factors affecting learning outcome included parenting styles, career planning, and residential areas. (4) a positive attitude led to better learning results; (5) confidence of learning was an important predictor of learning results, accounting for 16.1% of the total variance. The study provided an empirical evidence for nursing teachers to create a teaching and consulting strategy which could improve students' learning process to achieve a better learn outcome.
