摘要

隨著近年來單親家庭比例的增加，單親家長面對家庭關係重組的變動與親職角色的轉變，容易經歷經濟、親子、社交與心理等方面的生活適應問題，對生活於其間的成人與小孩之生活福祉影響甚劇。基於女性單親的經濟劣勢地位，國內許多相關的研究向來較多聚焦於女性單親家庭方面的研究，對於男性單親家庭的研究較少。本研究針對離婚單親父親因應親職與工作角色的變動與經驗，探討男性單親的生活和親職適應狀況，以瞭解他們平衡家庭和工作角色的因應策略。
基於男性單親的親職與工作角色之因應歷程，牽涉到受訪者的主觀經驗與詮釋，加上家庭生活事件的私密性，本研究採用質化研究的取向深度訪談七位經由電子網路與朋友關係轉介而自願接受訪問的單親父親，以貼近單親父親的親身經驗與看法。本研究的結果顯示，要成為一個勝任的單親父親，除了個人的爭取子女監護權的動機外，曾經高度的親職涉入、親人托育的協助及工作職場的善意接納，才能促成單親父親勝任此一新親職角色。男性單親在實施其新的父職角色上的確有其獨特的經驗和看法，但只要有參與的機會和足夠的支持，他們大致都可以扮演好此一新親職角色。最後，本研究提出有關社會工作實務與社會福利政策的建議供參考。

Male headed families account for forty percent of single parent families in Taiwan. However, past research has extensively focused on the issues among female heads and their children due to the concern for their disadvantaged conditions. Only a few studies examined the situation among divorce fathers. This study intends to explore particularly the experiences and coping strategies regarding the dual role issues among divorced fathers.
Seven divorced fathers from internet and friend network voluntarily were interviewed in in-depth way based on a semi-structural interview. The results indicated that high participation in parenting before divorce, actively involvement in gaining custody, receiving childcare assistance from families and friends, and accepted and supported friendlily by the company seem very helpful in performing a competent single fattier. Implications on social welfare policy and social work practice are included.
