環境化設計是目前國際間以産品設計源頭作爲落實汙染預防的環境管制策略,被視爲從源頭降低對環境衝擊與增進環境友善的觀念,而其主要目的是彌補産品設計與環境管間的縫隙。但現今國內在環境化設計領域上仍較偏重於技術工具層面,對於環境化設計策略研擬的相關研究上尚屬少數。本研究利用分析層級程序法(AHP)從環境的重要性、製造成本的投資、産品設計的考量、附加價值的提昇等四大構面爲主軸,針對國內製造業的企業進行問卷調查,以計算出不同因素在産品環境化設計影響的相對權重,進而研擬産品環境化設計的優先策略。其主要目的是期望産品環境化設計不僅僅是作爲因應國際間綠色壓力下的做法,更是將此概念整合爲公司的經營策略,開創産品在綠色設計下的附加價值,最終結果將可作爲企業在産品環境化設計策略研擬的參考依據。
Design for Environment (DfE) has been considered as an important strategy by business nowadays, which connecting product design with environmental considerations for bridging the gap between the traditional product design and the concept of environmental friendly. This research utilizes Analytic Hierarchy Process to investigate the prioritized DfE strategies for Taiwan's corporations, which based on four areas, namely environmental significance, manufacturing costs, considerations of product design, and increased value-added. By applying the AHP, the weightings of different influential factors of products' DfE strategies can be determined, and the importance of the DfE strategies then can be prioritized. It is believed that this method not just can alleviate the pressure from the ”green tide”, but also can integrate the DfE into the operational strategies of companies.
