摘要

軟顎切除會造成口腔與鼻腔相通導致患者發音有障礙，說話時有嚴重的鼻音；以及食物與液體會由鼻腔溢流、鼻腔黏膜的刺激等不快感。如此狀況可以製作閉孔器以改善患者發音與飲食上的不便來改善不快感。本報告則是提出口腔癌術後軟顎缺損以閉孔器進行贗復之症例。

A soft palate defect may result from surgical resection, and the consequences could include hypernasal speech and nasal regurgitation of food and liquids. Obturator prostheses fabricated for patients to improve nasal emission during speech, and assist in preventing nasal reguritation of food. This article presents two cases for reconstruction of a soft palate defect for prosthetic obturation.
