Practice Survey of Clinical Psychologists in Taiwan

摘要

為瞭解國內臨床心理師執業現況，本研究於2006年以問卷調查方式，蒐集158位領有證書之臨床心理師對於目前從事臨床心理工作之現況與看法。結果顯示64.6%受訪者具碩士以上學歷，70.1%受訪者在醫療機構工作，且75%受訪者工作年資不超過十年。對未來執業前景僅43.6%受訪者持樂觀態度，其中對各類工作機構前景以對醫療機構的樂觀程度為最低，可能的原因主要為缺乏合格督導及執業收入偏低。曾想要離開此行業的原因主要為收入偏低及專業耗竭，繼續從事臨床心理工作的原因主要為喜歡助人工作及自我成長。本文摘要與討論調查結果，並對臨床心理師的未來相關政策規劃提出建議。

To investigate clinical psychologists' practices and activities in Taiwan, we conducted a Taiwan Practice Survey of Clinical Psychologists. 158 clicensed clinical psychologists were invited to complete a questionnaire about their present clinical practices and activities. In this survey, over than half of participates (64.6%) have graduate degree. 70.1% of clinical psychologists work in hospitals or medical clinics. Most clinical psychologists (75%) had clinical experience less than 10 years. Only 43.6% of clinical psychologists held optimistic attitude toward their career. Clinical psychologists who practiced in hospitals or medical clinics have the lowest level of optimism toward their career mainly due to insufficient supervision and income. The main causes for leaving this career were poor income and professional burnout, and the main reasons for keeping this career were enjoyment of helping others and personal growth. The implications were discussed and summaried.
