我國大專院校游泳教練家長式領導之調查研究

A Study of Swimming Coaches' Paternalistic Leadership in Universities in Taiwan

摘要


本研究旨在瞭解大專院校游泳選手所知覺教練家長式領導之現況,並比較不同背景變項之游泳選手所知覺教練家長式領導的差異情形。本研究係以參加九十一年度大專運動會游泳比賽項目386位參賽選手為研究對象,並以「教練家長式領導行為調查問卷」為研究工具進行調查。根據調查所蒐集之資料,經單因子多變項變異數分析及薛費法等方法進行統計分析,結果發現:一、我國大專院校游泳選手所知覺教練家長式領導中,以「才德領導」之得分最高,其次為「仁慈領導」,而以「威權領導」之得分最低。二、不同背景變項之大專院校游泳選手所知覺教練家長式領導上均有差異。

This study examined the current circumstances of coaches with paternalistic leadership from the varsity swimmers' points of view, and to compare the consequences that paternalistic leadership coaches trained swimmers of different background variables. The subjects were 386 university swimmers in Taiwan, and the self-designed ”Questionnaire of Coaches' Paternalistic Leadership” was used as the measurement for the study. Based on the collected data, through one-way MANOVA and Scheffe method, the results showed that, first of all, domestic university swimmers perceived their coaches with paternalistic leadership as the most desirable quality. Secondly, the university swimmers were more inclined to kindness leadership. Authoritative leadership was the weakest. There was a difference among the swimmers with different backgrounds in their perception of coaches' paternalistic leadership.
