國中數學夏令營成效之研究

A Study of the Daily Life Mathematics Summer Camp

摘要


本活動旨在為國中學生規劃與實施一周的數學課外活動—「生活數學夏令營」。每天上午進行一個與生活有關的主題之數學教學,使學生能經由合作學習的方式學習實情境中的一些數學問題。下午進行遊戲式的數學比賽,以合作學習的STAD模式進行,不但有個人成績的表揚,更有小組成績的表揚。並安排一小時半的回饋時間,為學生講解與澄清不明暸的問題。 對學生進行三種量表的前後測,並調查學生對活動的回饋意見,顯示不論年級性別,參加數學夏令營的國中生其數學自我效能皆有顯著的改善。九成八的家長肯定數學夏令營有助於參加者的數學學習,家長也表示子女參加數學夏令營期間,數學學習動機、興趣、自信心等方面皆有正向的改變。

The major purpose of the study was to develop and carry out a mathematics extra-curriculum-”Daily Life Mathematics Summer Camp”. A topic about mathematics used in daily life was taught in the morning. In the afternoon, there were game-like mathematics competitions held under the mode of STAD, one kind of cooperative learning teaching methods. The results showed that no matter which grader or gender the students are, the subjects had significant improvement on their mathematics self-efficacy. As a result, one-week intense Summer Camp improved the effect about junior high students' affectional performances.
