台南市國民小學教師專業成長與學校效能關係之研究

A Study of the Relationship between Teachers' Professional Growth and School Effectiveness in Tainan Elementary Schools

摘要


本研究旨在探討台南市國民小學教師專業成長與學校效能之關係,透過文獻分析建構教師專業成長的六個向度與學校效能指標的五個向度,並編製成問卷,以台南市國民小學23所,301位教師為調查研究對象。本研究獲致結論如下:1.台南市國民小學教師專業成長與學校效能現況,屬良好程度;2.教師專業成長各向度與學校效能各向度有顯著正相關;3.教師專業成長對學校效能具有顯著的預測能力。最後,根據研究結論對學校、教育行政機關及未來研究提出具體建議。

The purpose of the study was to explore the relationship between teachers' professional growth and school effectiveness in Tainan elementary schools. Through analyzing relevant literatures, the author constructed six dimensions of the teachers’ professional growth and five dimensions of schools' effectiveness indicators, and developed the research questionnaire. The samples included 301 teachers randomly drawn from 23 elementary schools in Tainan. The results were as following: 1. The conditions of teachers' professional growth and school effectiveness in Tainan elementary schools were good; 2. The correlation between the dimensions of teachers' professional growth and school effectiveness was positive; 3. Teachers' professional growth has significant predicting power to school effectiveness. Based on the research results, the author provides feasible recommendations for the references to school administrators, educational agencies, and for further research on related topics.
