臺大出版中心營運策略之探討

摘要

在臺灣，大學出版社之發展已近50年，然而，各大學出版社受限於資源有限，內、外部環境之困難而發展不易。本研究以臺大出版中心為個案，探討其發展歷程與未來之展望，期望作為臺灣的大學出版社發展之參考。
首先說明臺灣圖書出版之概況，並呈現臺灣的大學出版社發展之源流；其次描述臺大出版中心發展歷程、經營現況與面臨之挑戰；進而分析臺大出版中心重要之發展議題、未來發展方向與具體發展策略。究顯示雖然面對各種挑戰，然而，臺大出版中心仍有發展的利基與機會。

University presses have been in existence in Taiwan for almost fifty years; however, their growth has been restrained due to limited resources and difficult internal and external circumstances. This paper will make recommendations for the further development of university presses by examining the history and future outlook of the National Taiwan University Press.
The paper will first survey the current situation of the book publishing industry and then trace the development of university presses in Taiwan. The paper will describe National Taiwan University Press's history, its current situation, and the challenges it faces as it formulates strategies for its future development.
