Using the data of 1981, 1987, 1992, 1993, 1996, and 1999 ”Manpower Utilization Survey,” the paper employes Duncan's size-standardized index of dissimilarity to measure the degrees and trends of occupational sex segregation in the national labor market as well as segmented labor markets. The results indicated that: (1) the general degrees of occupational sex segregation have decreased in the national labor market; (2) but the degrees of occupational sex segregation has increased in several segmented labor markets, such as the lower primary labor market, the periphery industries, and the public sector.
