The applications of Deep Sea Water (DSW) resources are well developed in many countries, especially in America and Japan. Some of these applications are within tourism industry such as theme parks and recreational resorts. Taiwan has plenty of DSW resources but the applications of DSW are still limited. Hence, the applications of DSW to tourism industry in Taiwan are discussed in this paper. Health tourism based on DSW resources may be new tourism products that can emphasis the health issues from DSW. In particular, Thalassotherapy may be tried to planned and developed first.
