摘要

西格蒙德佛洛伊德(Sigmund Freud)創立精神分析(psychoanalysis)，並確立「後設心理學」(metapsychology)原則，但逐漸發現精神分析在臨床應用的侷限性，他認為必須修正純粹精神分析。依循佛洛伊德以降的追隨者進一步的加以實踐化，因而成就精神分析心理治療(psychoanalytic psychotherapy)，以訓練更多治療師，進而服務更多受困於「官能症」(neurosis)病人。文試圖以倫敦塔為史托克中心(Tavistock Centre)的訓練課程為例，闡明其臨床應用。

Sigmund Freud founded psychoanalysis, and established the principles of meta-psychology. However, he soon discovered its limitation and suggested some modifications. This line of thought is taken up and elaborated by some of his followers, therefore psychoanalytic psychotherapy is founded. In this paper, the authors argue the lines of advance of psychoanalytic psychotherapy, using the Tavistock Centre in London as an example, to illustrate psychoanalytic psychotherapy in practice, and to discuss its advantages.
