第三代渥太華心理技能量表中文化之信效度分析

Validation of the Ottawa Mental Skills Assessment Tool (OMSAT-3) Within Taiwan Context

摘要


目的:探討第三代渥太華心理技能量表(Ottawa Mental Skills Assessment Tool, OMSAT-3)中文化後的適用性。方法:參與者爲高中以上運動員共808位(男:481,女:327),共包含42種運動項目,平均年齡19.41±2.96歲。在非比賽情境下填寫中文版第三代渥太華心理技能量表與運動員心理技能量表,資料收集完畢後,以驗證性因素分析、皮爾森積差相關分析以及多變量分析來檢驗測量模式因素效度、複核效度、效標關聯效度及建構效度。結果:中文版第三代渥太華心理技能量表的適配度指標大都達到標準,具良好的構念、複核、和效標關聯效度。除害怕分量表外,其餘分量表之內部一致性皆在合理範圍內。多變項變異數分析發現優秀運動員在目標設定、自信心、承諾、壓力管理、放鬆、活化、再專注、意象、心理練習、和競賽計畫等10個分量表的得分高於一般運動員。而中文版第三代渥太華心理技能量表與運動員心理技能量表則呈現高度正相關(r=.82)。結論:中文版第三代渥太華心理技能量表具有不錯的模式適配度,透過量表可有效區分不同水準運動員在心理技能方面的差異,顯示出本量表具實際應用價值。但是害怕分量表的內部一致性過低,在引用時需考慮到此限制。

Purpose: To examine the validity and reliability of the translated Ottawa Mental Skills Assessment Tool (OMSAT-3; Durand-Bush, Salmela, & Green-Demers, 2001). Methods: Eight hundred and eight undergraduate and high school athletes aged 19.41±2.96 years (481 males and 327 females) from 42 sport events were administered the Chinese version of OMSAT-3 and Athletic Psychological Skills Inventory (APSI). Factorial, cross-sample, criterion-related, construct validities were identified by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), Pearson Product-moment correlation analysis and multivariate analysis. Results: The findings of CFA revealed an adequate fit for the measurement model of OMSAT-3 with the calibration and validation samples, and reported an appropriate correlation with APSI. Besides, moderate internal consistencies were found for all subscales (Cronbachs'α=.60~.78), except for fear control subscale (α=.48). Elite athletes also showed higher scores on 10 psychological skills (goal-setting, self-confidence, commitment, stress reactions, relaxation, activation, refocusing, imagery, mental practice, competition planning) than those non-elite. Conclusion: The Chinese version of OMSAT-3 seems a valid and reliable measure for assessing athletes' psychological skills in Taiwan. Though the translated OMSAT-3 contributes its theoretical and practical application to sport psychology, future researches should be aware of its limitation of lower internal consistency on the fear control subscale.
