兒童牙齒塗氟利用情形調查－以南部某醫學中心兒童牙科門診為例

摘要

目的：本研究之目的是希望了解家長對兒童預防齲齒應用專業氣化物產品的認知與態度，並調查家長對全民健保「兒童牙齒預防保健」推行牙齒塗氟措施的認知程度以及兒童實際的利用情形。
材料與方法：針對南部某醫學中心兒童牙科門診部就醫兒童患者之家長，立意取樣150位，以結構式問卷進行面訪調查。所得資料以JMP5.12統計軟體進行分析。
結果：兒童牙齒塗氟接受率有24.67%，未滿五歲的兒童有接受過牙齒塗氟僅8.00%。半數以上的家長(69.33%)知道牙醫師有做牙齒塗氟項目；知道全民健保可給付未滿5歲兒童牙齒塗氟的有28.67%；擔心塗氟會有副作用，影響小孩健康的有37.94%。結論：在調查兒童牙齒塗氟接受率與家長對於兒童牙齒塗氟接受情形的兩個項目中，明顯表示兒童牙齒塗氟接受率偏低，這與家長對牙齒塗氟的認知不足、口腔預防保健消息接收來源皆有關係。

Aim: The aim of this study was to understand the attitude and recognition of parents about caries prevention in children and the condition that how parents knew about ”topical fluoride application in children younger than 5 years old” held by the National Health Insurance.
Materials & Methods: One hundred and fifty parents visited pediatric dental department of a medical center in southern Taiwan had enrolled with agreement. They were interviewed with structural questionnaires. All data were analyzed using statistic software JMP5.l2.
Results: The prevalence of topical fluoride application was 24.67%. More than half parents (69.33%) know the item of tooth fluoride application in dental clinics. 28.67% of the parents are aware that National Health Insurance offer free medical care of ”topical fluoride application in children younger than 5 years old.” 37.94% of them worried about side effects of tooth fluoride application.
Conclusions: After survey of the percentage and acceptance in children tooth fluoride application, it shows low performance rate in tooth fluoride application. And it might be associated with poor recognition of parents about tooth fluoride application and oral hygiene information.
